It may appear as “Travel,” “Secondary,” or something similar. You can identify your GoMoWorld eSIM because the number usually begins with several zeros (e.g., 00000…). Here’s what to do: Force close the GoMoWorld app completely (this can be done by swiping up to close the app) Reopen the app and try the installation again This simple refresh often solves the issue. This message can appear if your GoMoWorld eSIM has been disabled in your device settings To use your GoMoWorld travel data, you’ll need to (re)activate your GoMoWorld eSIM when this message appears in the app. To (re)activate your GoMoWorld eSIM: On iOS: Open  Settings  and tap  Cellular Look for the eSIM label you chose during installation (e.g. “GoMoWorld”). It may appear as “Travel,” “Secondary,” or something similar. You can identify your GoMoWorld eSIM because the number usually begins with several zeros (e.g., 00000…). Turn the line  On Make sure  Data Roaming  is enabled On Android (Samsung, Motorola, …) Open  Settings  and tap  Connections Go to  SIM Card Manager Toggle on your GoMoWorld eSIM to enable it Confirm by tapping  OK  (Turn on eSIM) Under  Preferred SIM card , tap  Mobile Data  and select your GoMoWorld eSIM On Android (Google Pixel, Oppo) Open  Settings Go to Network and Internet > SIMs   Select your GoMoWorld eSIM Toggle  Data roaming  ON That’s it! Your eSIM is now active and ready to use your GoMoWorld plan. You’re good to go!

If your GoMoWorld eSIM suddenly lost connection: ✅ Try the following: Check if your plan is still  active  in the app (you can refresh your data consumption by clicking on the small pink arrows) this will confirm if you are not  running out of allowance or time  on your plan Verify your device settings:  Mobile Data  and  Data Roaming  are ON Switch on Airplane mode and off or Restart your phone Make sure GoMoWorld is still set as your * data line  * If that doesn’t help, contact our support team directly from the app

Accepted Answer

In some instances where a GoMoWorld eSIM has been installed but deactivated an Oppo device may present a GoMoWorld is not compatible for this device banner. To resolve this issue, we advise you to follow the below steps. Go to your device settings and select Sim Card & mobile data You will see your eSIM set to off, you will need to click on the button highlighted to enable your eSIM  You will then need to click Enable on the pop up to confirm  Once enable is selected you will now be able to access your GoMoWorld app and use the GoMoWorld service.

My data seems slow or unstable

GoMoWorld relies on multiple local roaming partners to provide data across the world (up to 4 roaming partners per country and 3 on average). Good news is that GoMoWorld is full speed all the way, no throttling or limit on your data allowance. However, data speed can vary depending on: Local network coverage Congested zones (e.g., airports, stadiums) Signal strength indoors If your data seems slow or fails to connect to the highest speed available in your destination, try: Switching to airplane mode, wait for 10 secondes, then switching it off. Rebooting your phone Manually selecting a different local network in:  Settings > Mobile Data > [Your GoMoWorld eSIM] > Network Selection ⚠️ Note: The network search and selection process can take some time — sometimes up to a few minutes — so please be patient while your device scans for available networks, please contact customer care to enquire about available local partners for your destinations. If you're still having issues, contact support — we’ll check your network and suggest the best local operator if multiple are available.

How do I transfer my eSIM to a new phone?

If you’ve changed phones (lost, stolen, upgraded…), don’t worry — your GoMoWorld account and plan is still safe. Here’s what to do: Download the GoMoWorld app  on your new phone Log in with the  same login method  as before This will retrieve your account with past and active plans.  The old eSIM will be automatically  deactivated The app will prompt you to  install a new eSIM  on your new phone ✅ You don’t need to buy a new plan — as long as your plan is still active, you can reinstall your eSIM on your new device. If no plan is available or active, you’ll be able to download your eSIM on your next purchase!
